Spirovent is a Pneumatically Operated, Time Cycled Ventilator with Bellows-Canister Assembly', primarily designed for ventilating patients during Controlled Anaesthetic Management. The Ventilator has been kept very simple with having only three basic controls for regulating the Inspiratory Time, Expiratory Time and Inspiratory Pressure. Consumption of Source Gas for Driving the Bellows has been kept minimum by incorporating "Jet-Venturi Principlc'.
Digital display of delivered Breaths Per Minute and Electronic Audio-Visual Alarms are being operated through a separate electronic circuitry and functioning of the ventilator is not dependent on it since the control module circuitry is pneumatically operated.
'Bellows-Canister Assembly' has been provided with 'O' Ring Seals for leak-proof operation and can be dismounted very easily from the ventilator for sterilization. |
